1. Live art events and exhibitions at City Walk
City Walk will be conducting a series of live art events and exhibitions this Eid Al Adha. The event will kick off on Thursday, July 30, at the Dubai Canvas in City Walk. It will showcase international street artist Juandres Vera, creating his signature 3D artworks on the floor of City Walks indoor courtyard.
2. Escape the summer heat, learn to ski!
The Mall of the Emirates has launched attractive summer deals for people who like to learn skiing for 48 hours for a price of AED600 only. For two days, a certified instructor will teach one skiing for one 60 minute and three 90 minute sessions at Ski Dubai.
3. Travel through history, revisit Louvre Abu Dhabi
The Louvre in Abu Dhabi has finally reopened. See the exhibition Furusiyya: The Art of Chivalry between East and West. Visit the museum and view more than 130 artifacts, from weaponry and armor manuscripts and decorative objects. Advance booking is required by calling louvreabudhabi.ae.
4. Watch some good old movies at Yas Drive-in Cinema
Over the Eid weekend, Yas Drive-in Cinema will be showing Training Day, Shazam, and Baby Driver. Once you buy a ticket, you'll also get popcorn, soft drinks, water, and chocolates.
5. Free film screening in Sharjah!
There will be a free movie screening at the drive-in cinema in Madar at Aljada in Muwaileh. The event is first-come, first-served, with allocated parking. Movies that will be shown include Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (Thursday), Despicable Me (Friday), and Avengers: Endgame (Saturday).
