The Department of Tourism (DOT) proposes that returning overseas Filipino workers, including tourists, should just undergo seven days quarantine.
Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat said that the agency plans to adapt the quarantine requirements in Hong Kong and Thailand in rolling out the green lane for vaccinated passengers arriving t international gateways.
Under the green lane, fully vaccinated returning OFWs and tourists will only need to quarantine for seven days–from current 14 days–upon entry into the Philippines.
“Currently, whether you are fully vaccinated or not, it’s 10 days in hotel and another four days at home,” Puyat said.
