Bank Statement, Academic Credentials, Trade License Now Required For Contract Verification In Dubai



The Migrant Workers Office (MWO) in Dubai and the Northern Emirates updated the checklist of requirements for individual contract verification for Filipino skilled workers who are planning to go back to the Philippines.


Starting February 1, 2023, those who will apply for contract verification need to produce the following requirements 'as circumstances may warrant': Bank Statement, Academic Credentials, and Trade License.


According to its website, the additional requirements will be applied for OFW skilled workers without previous records with the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration and for balik-manggagawa with a change of employer.


Abu Dhabi and Ain Ain visa holders and are working in Dubai and the northern emirates need to present company certification at the exact work address.


Additional requirements for domestic workers without records with POEA and for registered balik-manggagawa with a change of employer, on the other hand, will be the Emirates ID of the employer. Those holding Abu Dhabi and Al Ain visas and are working in Dubai and the northern emirates need to procure proof of work address, an example would be an employer's billing statement and tenancy agreement.


All requirements shall be submitted in two sets, along with a verification fee of AED40.
