Vevherly Gador, a 36-year-old single mother from Cebu, made the Philippines proud by finishing in the top 10 of the 47th Mrs. Universe pageant, held from October 2 to October 10, 2024, in Incheon, South Korea. The prestigious event took place at the Songdo Convensia, where Gador represented the Philippines among participants from around the globe.
During the competition, Gador not only secured a spot in the top 10 but also won the Mrs. Perfection award, recognizing her outstanding poise and presence on the international stage.
Gador, who is based in Dubai, earned her place in the international competition after winning the Mrs. Universe Philippines 2024 crown earlier this year. She also claimed several special awards, including Best in Evening Gown, Mrs. Photogenic, and People’s Choice.
Although she did not take the top title, which went to the representative from Belarus, Gador secured a notable 4th runner-up position. Other winners included North Asia (1st runner-up), Siberia (2nd runner-up), and Dubai (3rd runner-up).
Reflecting on her journey, Gador shared that representing her country on such a prestigious platform was an honor, and she hopes her achievement will inspire others.
