Dubai Honors Taxi Driver For Returning Bag Full Of Cash To Rightful Owner



A Dubai taxi driver was recently honored for returning a bag containing AED250,000 to the owner after the latter left it behind the public transport.


Noor Khan, a Pakistani driver, found the bag full of cash after his trip was completed. His first instinct was to immediately call his supervisor who turn the bag and took action towards returning the bag to the owner.


Mattar Mohamed Al Tayer, Director-General, Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of the Roads and Transport Authority honored the Pakistani driver by giving him a certificate of recognition for his exemplary dedication.


"We pride ourselves on having employees with such great disciplines and fidelity at the RTA. This bus driver took the proper action by handing over the bag to the Buses Supervisor. This attitude fully reflects the confidence in the loyalty and honesty of the employees of our public transit means that commute hundreds of thousands of riders every day. This behavior boosts public confidence when using public transport means in Dubai," he was quoted as saying by Gulf News.
