Dubai has officially entered the third and final phase of winter, marking the beginning of a gradual temperature increase, according to Ibrahim Al-Jarwan, Chairman of the Emirates Astronomical Society.
Known as Scorpion Season, this period started on Monday, February 10, and will last until Thursday, March 20, signaling the transition from winter to early summer. It is also a time when the country experiences more frequent rainfall before warmer days set in.
The seasonal shift coincides with the first few weeks of Ramadan, providing a pleasant climate for outdoor iftars. As the sun sets, many residents will gather to break their fast with dates, dried fruits, and traditional Ramadan beverages before heading to evening prayers.
With mild temperatures still lingering, it remains an ideal time for outdoor activities before the heat of summer takes over.
