Good news for foreign and returning overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) to the Philippines!
Starting today, February 1, the Philippines will lift the ban on travelers from over 30 countries including UAE. However, travelers’ entry to the Philippines is subject to conditions.
Citing the resolution released by the Inter-agency Task Force (IATF), passengers flying to the Philippines will be required to undergo a swab test on their 6th day of quarantine from the date of arrival.
Meanwhile, non-OFWs and foreign nationals will be required to show proof of a pre-booked accommodation for at least seven nights in an accredited hotel or facility.
