If you’re planning to visit Abu Dhabi through public bus E101 at the IBN Batuta station in Dubai, there are things that you need to consider before crossing the border between the two emirates.
Passengers who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 need to present their Alhosn app that shows a green status. Additionally, as per Abu Dhabi’s entry rules, they must also have the ‘E’ icon or ‘Star’ icon from a negative PCR test result taken within seven days. The Star icon is present for Covid-19 vaccine trial volunteers.
Meanwhile, unvaccinated travelers are also allowed to enter the emirate as long as their Alhosn app shows a green status, and must present a negative PCR test result taken within 48 hours.
The app will be checked twice--one prior to boarding the bus and the second when the bus reached the Dubai-Abu Dhabi border.
The first bus from the IBN Batuta leaves at 5:20 am.
