Returning residents are no longer required to get an ICA entry permit or approval prior to their departure when they land in Abu Dhabi airports.
Two airlines have received an advisory from the local government, saying that they're taking bookings from residency visa holders who haven't received their approvals.
Returning expats and those who are outside the country and are set to land in Dubai are still required to a GDRFA approval prior to departure.
