Dubai’s skyline is set to welcome another architectural marvel with the unveiling of plans for the Muraba Veil, an unusually narrow skyscraper that will rise 380 meters along Sheikh Zayed Road. Designed by the renowned Spanish firm RCR Arquitectes, the 73-storey tower will stand out for its remarkable slender width of just 22.5 meters—about the size of a single apartment.

The tower will house 131 exclusive residences, ranging from two-bedroom to five-bedroom units, with prices starting at Dhs18 million. Alongside the luxurious living spaces, residents will have access to amenities such as a wellness spa, restaurant, gallery, padel court, and private cinema.

What makes the Muraba Veil unique is its design, which incorporates a stainless steel mesh known as the "Veil." This feature reflects the changing shades of the sky and allows the building to blend harmoniously with its surroundings. According to the designers, the structure is inspired by traditional Arabian architecture, focusing on creating refuge, privacy, and a close connection to nature.

Rafael Aranda, Founder of RCR Arquitectes, emphasized that the project is culturally sensitive to Dubai's heritage. "We are passionate about ensuring our buildings are responsive to the place, that they belong to the site and the native landscape where they are situated," he said.

Though a completion date has yet to be confirmed, Muraba and RCR Arquitectes are committed to taking their time to perfect every detail of the project.
