OFW Victory: Dubai-Based Vehverly Gador Named Mrs. Universe Philippines 2024



On Sunday, August 25, at the prestigious Dusit Thani Hotel in Makati, Vehverly Gador, an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) based in Dubai, was crowned Mrs. Universe Philippines FDN 2024. Representing the Filipino Community of the Middle East, Gador's win is a significant achievement, celebrating the strength and resilience of Filipinos abroad.


In a heartfelt Facebook post following her victory, Gador expressed her deep gratitude and attributed her success to her unwavering faith. "Proof of another MIRACLE IN MY LIFE," she wrote, adding, "My DEEPEST FAITH IN GOD brought me this far. Winning the Mrs. Universe Philippines title is a dream come true, and I am beyond grateful for the overwhelming love and support that has brought me to this moment."


Vehverly Gador, a dedicated mother, dedicated her triumph to her daughter, highlighting her as the source of her strength and inspiration. "First and foremost, I want to express my deepest gratitude to my daughter. You are my inspiration, my strength, and my reason for striving to be the best version of myself every single day. This victory is as much yours as it is mine," she shared. Gador's dedication to her daughter has been a driving force behind her journey, providing her with the motivation to overcome challenges and pursue her dreams.


Gador also used her win to acknowledge the sacrifices of OFWs in the Middle East and around the world. "I also want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the overseas Filipino workers in the Middle East. I am in awe of your resilience, your dedication, and your incredible sacrifices. You are the unsung heroes, working tirelessly to provide for your families and building a better future for our nation. This crown is a tribute to your strength and spirit," she stated, emphasizing her commitment to using her platform to advocate for the rights and well-being of all OFWs globally.



In her post, Gador expressed her gratitude to everyone who supported her journey, including her family, friends, mentors, and supporters. She reflected on the significance of her title, not just as a personal achievement but as a symbol of a greater responsibility. "This title is not just a crown on my head, but a reminder of the responsibility to uplift, empower, and inspire others. I am honored to carry this torch and to represent the incredible women of the Philippines on the global stage."
