A number of private hospitals in the UAE started to give residents with Covid-19 vaccine.
The health authorities in the UAE approved the Chinese Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine after it was found to be 86 percent effective against the infection.
Private entity VPS Healthcare Group started the process at its 18 facilities across Abu Dhabi City and suburbs, Al Ain, and Al Dhafra.
Meanwhile, Burjeel, Medeor, Lifecare, and LLH have established a dedicated Covid-19 centre outside their main buildings.
