Over a million students in Dubai are set to return to school this year amid the pandemic.
According to a Khaleej Times report, Covid-19 tests are not mandatory for students.
In a statement, the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) confirmed that it's not mandatory for the students.
"As we look forward to many students returning to school year next week, we would like to confirm that Covid-19 PCR testing is not mandatory for students," it added.
Returning teachers, however, are due to be screened for the new coronavirus by the end of this week.
