Returning non-overseas Filipino workers (non-OFWs) are required to have a confirmed hotel and travel arrangement before boarding a plane from their country of origin to the Philippines.
In an advisory from the Philippine Airlines (PAL), non-OFWs are required to book at a stringent hotel accredited by Tourism and Health Agencies for at least 10 days.
“You will not be able to board the flight if you miss presenting a confirmed booking upon check-in,” the advisory read.
Non-OFWs refer to returning overseas Filipinos (non-OFW students, non-OFW Balikbayan, non-OFW tourist, etc.), spouses and children of Filipinos, diplomats, foreign officials accredited by the Philippines, and eligible non-Filipino/foreign citizens.
