As part of the Ramadan celebrations, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan joined fellow Rulers of the Emirates for iftar on Tuesday at Sheikh Zayed’s farm in Al Khawaneej, Dubai — a location with deep historical ties to the country's formation.

In a post on X, Sheikh Mohamed highlighted the farm's significance, recalling how the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the UAE's Founding Father, met with other Rulers there in March 1971 to lay the groundwork for the Union.

The farm has now been officially recognized as the UAE’s third national landmark connected to the country’s founding, alongside Union House and Arqoob Al Sedira.

"I had the pleasure of joining my brothers, the Rulers of the Emirates, to share iftar in a location that holds special significance," Sheikh Mohamed shared.

Joining the President were Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, and Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, who exchanged Ramadan greetings at the historic site.
