On February 11, 2025, an all-Filipino Basketball League hosted an exciting event at Al Rigga, Dubai, UAE, with strong support from Tapaking. The event was a celebration of both basketball and Filipino culture, showcasing a vibrant community spirit.
The event, which had a family-centered theme, also highlighted the role of kids as ambassadors for each team. These young ambassadors added an extra layer of enthusiasm, showcasing their talents before the basketball league officially commenced. Their performances, full of energy and pride, set the tone for the day’s festivities, bringing a sense of unity and excitement to the event.
The event was presented by Ms. Melodina Isaguirre, the COO of Tapaking, who played a crucial role in the successful organization of the event. Alongside her, the leadership of Tapaking was well represented by Julius Magallanes, the Vice President for International Affairs, and Joseph Vasquez, the Director of Sales. Their collective efforts helped bring the Filipino community together in celebration of sports and camaraderie.
Adding to the significance of the event was the presence of Deen Sadiq, the UAE Franchisee, who contributed to the event's local success, ensuring that the Filipino spirit was well represented on the international stage. Mohamed El Kafrawy, the Operations Manager, was also instrumental in the smooth execution of the event, providing key support behind the scenes.
