Three UAE-Based Candidates to Represent Filipino Communities in the Mister International Philippines



In a move that is set to spark excitement and anticipation, three candidates from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have been announced to represent the vibrant Filipino communities of Dubai, Sharjah, and Ras Al Khaimah at the prestigious Mister International Philippines 2023. The Grand Finals of the event are set to take place in Manila on June 28, 2023.


The candidates are residents of the UAE but originate from the Philippines. They are now stepping into the limelight to bring pride to their communities in the Middle East while showcasing the diverse talents and cultures of the Philippines.



Dubai-based Guillermo "Gio" Vinas Cabanlit Jr., Sharjah's Mark Gil Bustrillo, and Ras Al Khaimah's Jhamil Tyrone Arante Principe have been selected to represent their respective Filipino communities at this international event.


Cabanlit, Bustrillo, and Principe will be competing for the coveted title of Mister International Philippines, which celebrates not only physical beauty but also the character, intelligence, and integrity of the contestants. The contest also aims to promote Filipino culture, camaraderie, and goodwill amongst the international community.



The team behind the contestants' preparation for the competition is led by National Director Jherson Francisco Cajelo. Producer Khairul A Hodri and Creative Director Melvin Agoncillo Mama, are also part of the team ensuring that the candidates are ready for the competition.


"We are extremely proud of our candidates," Cajelo said. "Their dedication and commitment to representing the Filipino community in the UAE is inspiring. They are not just competing for a title; they are ambassadors of our culture, our heritage, and the warmth of the Filipino people."
