UAE authorities assured the public that they are fully equipped as the country sees an increase in Covid-19 cases for the last five days.
Dr. Saif Al Dhaheri, the spokesman for the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management, said in an interview with Al Emarat TV that the increase in cases is an indication of complacency from the public.
"It is a chain, if could break this chain, we would go back to the previous phases where there were fewer cases and more recoveries. If we break this chain [of infections], we go back to having control over the situation," he said.
"We are ready for any scenario. If there came a reason for taking any further measures, we would not hesitate to do so," he further added.
