UAE Police Reduces Time In Responding To Emergencies By 23%



Sharjah Police announced that their response time to emergency situations dropped by 23 percent in the emirate over the past 10 months, as compared with the same period last year.


The police force in the emirate succeeded in reducing the response time from 8.18 minutes to 6.3 minutes.


According to Maj. General Saif Al Ziri Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, they have launched a strategy to help the country achieve the fastest emergency response by next year.


"We have set a plan to improve the mechanisms of the Operation Rooms and develop projects that are tailored to meet global performance indicators,” Brig. Dr. Ahmed Saeed Al Naour, Director General of Central Operations at Sharjah Police, said.
