The emirate of Abu Dhabi is all set to break two world records as the world marks a brand new year.
Lasting for 35 minutes, the New Years’ Eve fireworks display will light up the sky over Al Wathba for more than half an hour.
The event is part of the ongoing Sheikh Zayed Festival. The ‘Girandola’ fireworks display is set to be the largest straight-line fireworks display with festivities to kick off at 3pm on December 31.
“New Year’s at @ZayedFestival means unforgettable moments for the whole family. Be there for the largest, longest-running firework display, set to break two Guinness World Records, alongside other events and activities,” Abu Dhabi Calendar tweeted.
